Johnson's Email Marketing Spec Ad
Client: Johnson & Johnson
Audience: Parents of young children ages 0-2 years who want to purchase the highest quality products for their children.
Tone: Friendly, Sincere, Knowledgeable, Helpful
The Project: Create an email ad to increase awareness of the New Johnson’s Baby Conditioner and encourage people to buy the product by getting them to click through for the coupon.
The Strategy: In the subject line, I wanted to pique the interest of the parent by presenting them with an offer and explaining what the offer is. Ultimately, a healthy, happy baby and a happy parent. But with urgency, I inform that the offer is for a limited time only. In the snippet, I wanted to introduce Johnson's new product. The item that's going to bring them what's being presented in the subject line.
Parents want every opportunity to have bonding time to get to know their little ones. For the headline, I wanted to present the benefit to the consumer as well as get to the parents’ emotions. In the subhead, I presented the offer of 20% off their first purchase and how to get the offer with a button for the CTA.
I researched J&J’s mission and values when it comes to providing products for children. I looked at the language used. I wanted to remind parents that they have over 125 years of experience in baby care. Parents continue to trust and stick by what they have to offer for their children. Therefore, their products can be trusted. Natural, organic ingredients that are gentle and safe are imperative in the creation of all their baby products.
I offer features with visuals to inform parents of what this new baby conditioner has been "proven" to do. Reminding them that J&J wants to assist them in caring for their thriving child. This results in a parent with low anxiety and a happy child. It gets tough being a parent, so they can trust J&J to calm their fears because they understand.
